ESL Speaking Activity — You In Pictures
Ask each student to reflect on their personality and select five images from the worksheet that they feel best represent them.
In pairs or small groups, the students share and explain their choices to one another. In individual classes, the student can present their selections to the teacher, explaining why they feel these images represent them.
This activity works well as an icebreaker or a warm-up exercise to encourage conversation and self-expression.
Variation: Before discussing, students try to guess which images their partners might choose and explain their reasoning during the conversation. This adds a fun, interactive element to the activity and encourages more engagement.
