An exciting activity to practice Present Simple Present Simple Speaking Board!

As you can see here, it’s a grid filled with Present Simple speaking questions.

Here’s how it works: your students roll two dice. The first die determines the vertical number, and the second die determines the horizontal number. Where two dice intersect is the question the student needs to answer.

After answering the question, the student drags and places a weight on that spot, blocking other students from landing there.  This element adds a fun twist and ensures everyone gets a chance to speak.

There is also a 20-minute timer. If you want to limit the time of the activity, just press “Start timer”.

You can use this board for your online and offline classes.

For online classes, simply send the link with this activity to your students or share your screen.

For offline classes, download the PDF, print it, and use it in your classroom (don’t forget to bring dice for the activity).

This activity is perfect for engaging students and encouraging them to practice speaking in a fun, interactive way. It works well as a warm-up, filler, or even as a main activity to reinforce the Present Simple tense.

Give it a try, and watch your students become more confident in using Present Simple!
